With all the photographers jumping into video with their DSLRs and point-and-shoots, we thought it was about time we brought you a good do it yourself project aimed straight at video capture. This creation comes from J.G Pasterjak, who not only came up with a great idea but explains it in an entertaining way.
You'll need a few tools to make it all work - you'll end up having to cut some plastic during the process - but most of what you'll need you can buy cheaply at a hardware store. It takes eight skateboard wheels, a few pieces of angled aluminum, threaded rods and a bit of plastic.
In the end, you're left with a surprisingly versatile dolly that you can use on a variety of surfaces including homemade tracks and even on the ground.
